So, I'm thinking perhaps amaroK could benefit from a new set of icons. I have two icon's i'd like to share with you all. Tell me what you think.

Here's one i have to replace the current media device icon. I figure that something like an iPod would be more recognizable than a usb drive.

What about like zooming in on the top left corner to show a cross section of the LCD display and the left and top frames. I'm not actually sure if this would look good or not (like, you might not be able to tell what it is). But it would make it less iPod-specific and would be square (its a funny shape currently). --Eean 13:58, 23 December 2005 (EST)

I took eean's suggestion to get rid of the question mark and this is what came up with. I have been using this for a couple weeks in my amarok and I think it looks pretty good. I doesn't draw too much attention away from the rest of the interface, but its not too dull. --Laszlok 01:53, 4 January 2006 (EST)

I agree, I want that icon instead... :P Although, I must say that I like the fading in the left side (where the hinges are) of the current image better (see above, it's the same in the blue version) than the plain(ish?) side in that proposal... --Firetech 14:41, 11 January 2006 (EST)
