From Amarok Wiki
possibly a dumb question......
the installation instructions for Amarok on windows says that its automatically included in the KDE-windows installer application. i have installed all the KDE apps that the GUI has listed and still no Amarok player.
anyone experience the same thing?
Yes, and, you can't download the old 4.2.0 version of KDE for Windows either. They only seem to provide versions from 4.2.1 and later installation packages in the installer, and AmaroK is nowhere to be found. Thejynxed 11:48, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
You may have to choose another mirror. Not every version is available on every server. --Blacktremolo 13:03, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
Just noticed that Amarok is also available in 4.2.3 --Blacktremolo 19:41, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
German Users can find good instructions for installing Amarok on Windows on Freiheitsfreund's Blog (thx to Arian :) ) --Wolkenspiel 10:17, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

Does nitrostemps installer work for winxp? It doesn't seem so for me as I yield dbus-daemon errors like select: failed: Socket operation on nonsocket --Quarz 19:33, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
I tried to install amarok with the KDE installer, it does not work... the installation process is ok, all files are copied but when I start amarok.exe it immediately crashes... any idea ? --Scratbag 10:08, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
