To get the latest version (normally the last release is available within a day or two) you can change the line in your /etc/apt/sources.list from dockyard to dockyard-devel and run
apt-get update; apt-get install amarok
or to get the current version available in the current dockyard (normally the latest stable release) do this:
KMenu >> System Settings/Mission Control >> Install Software (Kynaptic)
