Edit: Thanks to Mystix, who solved the riddle. http://mp3splt.sourceforge.net Source: Thursday, January 12. 2006Ein Wort des DankesEben beklagte ich noch mein Leid, diese Nacht ohne einen Kohlesaeure-haltigen Partner verbringen zu muessen... da entdecke ich doch glatt ein Schweppes Ginger Ale, welches Christopher bei seinem Besuch letztes Wochenende im Kuehlschrank vergessen hat. Hurra! Exploding tires ain't funny, but building a chicanery to slow down those, who could go faster, would be unfair, too. If you feel unsafe, then just advise your drivers to drive slower. Anyways, here's my TV setup for this evening: Source: Sunday, June 19. 2005Hot as a ...Talking about the weather, of course. 30 centidegrees and more recently. Which is good on the one side: I love the summer, the sun, being outside... almost everything. Besides: - Being in the tube sucks. It's incredibly hot down there and all the sweating people don't look that happy. - Carrying a backpack wil leave funny sweat-marks on your shirt. - Sitting in the office, praying for some fresh air. In other news: I've been to the Hyde Park yesterday! Uploaded some new photos here. Afterwards I went to the Nike Town at Oxford Circus and left the store with four new shirts (which I desperately needed due to the sweat-marks I mentioned before *g*). Now if I only had have some new sunglasses, which I then wouldn't lose two weeks later. That'd rock Enjoy the summer! See what I mean? 1.2.1 was released exactly 2 weeks eq. 14 days after 1.2. Which then means: More than 2 new ChangeLog entries per day. Amazing! Right now we are already in a 1.2.2 mood, planning various little fixes and new features. The ContextBrowser will offer a fresh new Home tab and a Statistics tab/page will be introduced. Ideas? We would love to hear about them. Comment here or visit our forum! 1.2.2 will be (prolly) released in another two weeks. Afterwards the 1.2 branch will close and we will head on to 1.3 development. So you better hurry up! Kudos to Aaron for all the changes, fixes and new features.br / br / Now, I just added the Storage Media Applet to my Kicker and noticed a few things:br / br / 1. It rocks img src=http://chris.de/templates/default/img/emoticons/wink.png alt=;-) style=display: inline; vertical-align: bottom; class=emoticon / I got used to mount / unmount / eject my CDs, iPod and Cam with it. Two clicks instead of a few keystrokes in Konsole. And it even shows the current mount-status, hooray!br / br / 2. Ejecting audio discs doesn't seem to work. It tells you, that the current disc couldn't be mounted - which is correct, but shouldn't matter at all img src=http://chris.de/templates/default/img/emoticons/wink.png alt=;-) style=display: inline; vertical-align: bottom; class=emoticon /br / br / 3. After I mounted a disc I clicked Open in New Window, which opens a Konqui-window pointed to media:/hdc. That's fine so far. I got into trouble once I tried opening a big mpeg-movie with xine: KIO started copying the file to my kdecache prior opening it, which took ages. It would be better if KIO detects, that the disc already is mounted and opens xine with the real url (the mounted location) of the file.br / br / Nuf' ranting.
