"Multimedia Settings" is probably a better window title than "Phonon configuration" as it's much less technical, and much more clear to those not intimate with kdelibs, i.e. most users
Yes, I agree. We've been discussing this too. We will probably change the wording
Make the button not that wide
So the only thing still missing in Phonon is applying the new configuration on-the-fly.
Until now I have to restart playback (or was it even the whole application) to have this new settings applied. I'd love to have them instantly applied, so if I change my primary "Music" output to my USB headset, I want to hear music from it as soon as I click "Apply" in the phonon dialog. Maybe KDE4.3 will finally do this. Regards, Elias P. P.S. @The Amarok Team: Thanks a lot for all the hard work you're doing on Amarok - as I'm following all the KDE development very closely I was really shocked when I saw the first Amarok-2.x experiments but now I realise what really great potential it has - can't wait to see 2.1 running on my box. |
