that's awesome keep up the good work
that should be patented so only open source media players can use it
Hi,
I was playing with the biased playlists in Amarok today, and found one feature that I miss (or couldn't find). Couldn't find your mail either so I'm posting here, sorry for polluting the blog. Anyway, in Amarok 1.4 when I search for something in Collection browser, it searches in lots of places: track, album and artist name, genre, and so on. So when I search for 'blues' I get the results for Blues Brothers (artist), Blues Collection (album) and some tracks with "Blues" genre. That is very useful behavior. But right now in biased playlists editor I have to search separately for each category. I'd like it to be possible to have some "string" search for biased playlists, so I could i.e. ask for "70% blues and 30% rock", and Amarok takes a care for the rest. Stay cool! Ljubomir
BTW, great work on fuzzy search.
It's a very useful, and powerful tool (and presented nicely). You rock! |
