Hope you came back rested and ready to improve our favorite player some more
I sent some money your way. I wish I has more to give.
Now stop that! You're making me blush
Funny thing though. Ever since I started using digital music players I've never paid a dime for them and always used them cracked (Winamp) or on cracked systems (Windoze Media Player). Now that I use a completely free player on a completely free OS I've given more money than I ever spent on a downloadable program and will probably continue giving as long as I can. And that does not only go for amaroK, I've donated to anything that I feel is worthwile. Has anyone else experienced the same thing?
yes, i have. it's the security, that the product is worth "its money" (although, it's actually free of course): there will never be a way for us to charge you for 2.0 or any other update. not even the chance, that we stop developing amarok, since anyone could just continue developing it.
cheers, muesli
Me too. I've given money to amaroK, to Wikipedia, to Fastmail.fm, and will continue giving, even though US$10 may not be that much for you guys as it is for a brazilian girl =)
I give money for projects I love and I am very happy with that =D Keep up the good work! Cheers! |
