Hello to planet.opensource.dk

Earlier today I was contacted by someone from SSLUG ( Skåne Sjælland Linux User Group ) who had stumbled on my name on planetkde.org and thought it sounded very danish. Since I happen to be from Denmark, he invited me to have my blog syndicated to planet.opensource.dk which is a new planet for all things open source going on in Denmark. So here I am!

Now comes the brief introduction, so if you have already read some of my previous posts, you can safely skip the rest of this one

My name is Nikolaj Hald Nielsen (which does sound quite danish) and I am a, relatively, new developer on the Amarok music player. I was responsible for adding the Magnatune music store that has been integrated since version 1.4.4, and I am currently working on integrating other interesting ( and fair ) services. I am really interested in the area where Free Software and Free culture intersect, and this is reflected in the kind of work I do in the Amarok project.

I always blog in English as this blog is syndicated a few other places as well, most notably planetkde.org (hi guys! )
