I would just like to report, that Amarok 2.0, running KDE4 technology is successfully able to play music with Phonon and the Phonon-xine backend. The rest still works/looks as if it was hit by a bus.

So it is worth a try on a Mac now? I'm really looking forward to this version. I switched from Linux to MacOS some months ago and what I really miss is amaroK, this is such a killer-application, Mac users will love (!!) it. Keep this great work on going.
