Hmmm... This guy seems to dislike everything about Amarok. I mean, if he wanted to know how exactly did ATF work, he could just SVN UP and see the actual code; there's no need to describe it on the wiki (which is primarily for users who aren't particulary interested in algorythms).
I think that just means Amarok is getting more popular if some guys hate it for nothing
I must say the idea of my media player fiddling with tags embedded in media files in the background fills me with squick. The next time I come to do an incremental backup, wham there goes several dozen CD-Rs; if I want to share media files between users, whoops...
... is there a way to store the same data, only not in the files themselves? (Or is it just the same state as is anyway kept in the database?) |
