Please be aware that no stable version of Amarok for Windows has yet been released. This means those builds are FOR TESTING PURPOSES ONLY. There is no official support for them. Those builds might be unstable, have bad side effects, kill your cat, start WW4 or might even not work at all. You have been warned!

If all that doesn't scare you and you know what you are doing you can proceed.

Stable version

None released yet.

Development version

Amarok is included in the KDE on Windows Installer which you can download at windows.kde.org. Or directly: kdewin-installer-gui-latest.exe via winkde.org

It seems Amarok is no longer included in the latest released, you have to go back to older version of KDE (4.2.0) to be able to get and install Amarok.

Nightly builds

Those builds are generated automatically every night and get no special testing at all. They might work one day and can be totally broken the other. You have been warned! To test those please have a look at the README.

Debugging

To get debug output and backtraces from nightlies use DebugView: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896647.aspx

MP3 support

If you experience problems with MP3 playback have a look at MP3 Parser DirectShow Filter. If you then still have problems playing some files please have a look at: Combined Community Codec Pack. It should solve most of your codec problems.
